Take Time To Enjoy Your Summer

There's something about summer that causes you to pause. Maybe it's the heat. Maybe it's that the screen porch is open for business...but I've been taking a little time for myself this past week to celebrate fourth of July with family. I'll be traveling to the west coast in the middle of July to spend even more time with family and friends. I've decided that July needs to be a little slower paced for me as I catch my breath from an amazing first half of the year. I'm going to do new collection and expand my studio (it is time:). My wonderful husband has agreed to part with his beautiful billiard table so that I can have a new, huge art studio! I have commissions to finish and a workshop to prepare for, but I'll also be drinking green tea with lemon and enjoying some new respite. During this year I followed so many talented ladies from different parts of the world and they shared so many of their delicious creations ... so I decided this is time to try my favorites from them! Easter Weekend

Hello My Darlings,

This week was so extremely busy with a lots of ups and downs. I totally had no time to upgrade or add to my blog. But this morning as I woke up convinced that some things were left undone relative to my blog - I jumped in first thing: posted my new updates - some very exciting and some not as much.

1.This week I have the prints/canvas prints from my sold paintings featured on GILT.com along with other wonderful and talented female artists. (Eli Halpin - fun and whimsical artist, Leigh Viner - totally most popular now, and a few more very talented ladies with a less familiar names). I must say it was a Big disupointmet for my art not to be posted with my last name. It was only as Lana's Art Gallery.... which is for artists a big deal! It has been corrected for the future, however.

2. Celebrating my birthday this week and also continues with my boys b-days so it is a lot of (not so healthy sometimes) food, but lots of good times. I'm so proud of my boys - they are such talented, smart, goal driven and fine young men. I wish them many blessings and happy life journeys!

3. I had work overload so I only made a small contribution on the treasury this week, but thank you all my prolific teammates (you know who you are :) for featuring my art in your most creative treasuries. Thank you to all! Here are my favorites:

Perfect Day To Stay at Home

Hello my friends!

Today and all this week actually a perfect gray and dreary day to stay at home and cozy up. I'm staying with computer all day and still in my PJ's since morning! I realized that now:) Normally in the mid afternoon I run errands, get things ready to mail and find my way back to the studio for more work. But today was one of those days where I just didn't feel like going. So, I didn't! And what a luxury it was to work here all day, look outside to a gray and cold yard more fit for London than usually sunny Florida. I let my dog roam around, sipped hot tea, listened to music, cranked out a few treasuries, answered my teammates comments, and just soaked up being lazy for a day!

Giving Thanks

Hello my dear friends!

November is here already and it will be gone before we even notice it. In the midst of this busy time of everyone's life, I would like to say THANK YOU for:

( Which is always a perfect reminder that we aren't in control .... some days are sunny and bright, and some are rainy and windy......so let's be a very grateful for what is given us everyday!)

Thank you for motivating me moving forward and taking time to read my blog and leave your comments :) You are a bunch of creative, determined, and talented "followers".... and I'm thankful!)

Forever thankful for all my new "art lovers" and collectors who are totally awesome and help to keep me moving forward and push me to stay creative and excited about my craft. Love you all and hope to share with you my art for many, many years!

I think this list can go on and on ...but for now I'm busy with custom work, packing and shipping my sold orders, and generally busy with the creative process!

October in LOVE - Treasury Game

I participated in a treasury game 96 this weekend coordinated by the Avid Team. I think it was a great success! Even though I did not get any sales... I found a lot of great items I would like to order before the holidays hit me:) It was a little challenging to come up with four treasuries every day this week, but I was pretty happy with the results!

Today I pinned to my treasury pinterest board and this lovely image (above) just popped up (you know how it is sometimes:) ...could not resist to included it in my blog ...not because I feel like it's current, but I'm seriously thinking of purchasing these pants! Reason ...it reminds me of Parisian fashion. Maybe I'm a little nostalgic about it! Hmmm...

On a serious note...please share your opinion....do you think it's worth it to spend $35USD for these vintage pants? Let me know what you think!!!
