Merry Christmas!!!!

Hello my dear friends! How was your week? First of all I like to say all of you thank you so much for your kind messages about my beloved Nikki last week. It means a lot to me. Many of you have pets and you know how hard it is to say goodbye from your personal experiences. But now on to the magical time of Christmas and I will be enjoying it with loved ones.

I opened my Instagram account @LanasArtStudio couple of days ago, and I'm probably the last person to join it :) ... I found all of my friends from FB, Etsy, and Pinterest happily sharing their lovely pictures with the world already! I have tons of questions and more ideas ahead .... but now hear from the pros how to avoid mistakes there .... so far I found this week:

And, last but not least I would like to sharing my weekend small getaway to a lovely old city St. Augustine with Nights of Lights. This is our yearly holiday tradition and I'm so happy to sharing it with you.

Monday Morning ... new day, new week, new start ....

Hello Monday! My brain is running at a slow pace, in need of a second cup of coffee to kick in ... (now already), and I'm slightly sad that the weekend is gone. So, I'll take a few hours to browse my favorite blogs, online magazines and pretty pictures from my trips, and read up on my friends' blogs .... all to inspire me.

So you are a creative professional and this is you life sources. Embrace it and make some time for it! Without inspiration you have no fuel in the tank, and that will lead to nowhere. Most of the time I'm working on a series of pieces ... so it is easier for me. But every Monday when I have Monday-brain, I need something to get me excited and to spark my creativity again. So often my Pinterest inspiration board gives me a kick in the rear end. As an artist I need my creative juices to flow freely .... so it is great to start this morning with a giant cup of coffee, and let those couple hours visually trigger my brain. This is a part of my creative process! So, I'm taking time and adding this to my Monday routine! I hope this will be inspiring for you as well!

1. Just a few of the many things I love about Paris here ... nearly daily posts of a life in Paris and the Paris lifestyle .... I think the writer behind the blog reminds me of myself and my love of the city from the first time I set foot in the City of Lights.

Happy November! Happy new week and hello to a busiest season.... I know that many of you think I’ve been purposely added summer inspired pieces here and teasing you a lot about my Florida weather. You see, I love October because it means I'm in the home stretch.... I can celebrate my accomplishments over the last 10 months, and kick myself into gear to make the best of what's left of 2014!

Oh ...and of course, fall is my favorite season. When my dearest friends celebrating with sweaters, leggings, and everything pumpkin in New York, I'm sweating it out on the prettiest beaches of Florida in sunglasses still.

Take Time To Enjoy Your Summer

There's something about summer that causes you to pause. Maybe it's the heat. Maybe it's that the screen porch is open for business...but I've been taking a little time for myself this past week to celebrate fourth of July with family. I'll be traveling to the west coast in the middle of July to spend even more time with family and friends. I've decided that July needs to be a little slower paced for me as I catch my breath from an amazing first half of the year. I'm going to do new collection and expand my studio (it is time:). My wonderful husband has agreed to part with his beautiful billiard table so that I can have a new, huge art studio! I have commissions to finish and a workshop to prepare for, but I'll also be drinking green tea with lemon and enjoying some new respite. During this year I followed so many talented ladies from different parts of the world and they shared so many of their delicious creations ... so I decided this is time to try my favorites from them! It is exciting to know that some of my humble experiences are sometimes noticed and published for larger views. My regular readers may remember my December anniversary trip to Miami and this post. Thank you and Happy Travel to all!

I had a gorgeous spa treatment while my husband enjoyed his golf during our father day(s) stay at Ponte Vedra Resort. It is a sweet vacation place for the whole family and I'm looking forward to sharing more pictures with you in my next blog post. This place was established in 1928 and I think they still manage to project a relaxing and fun atmosphere, with is great for a family reunion or just plain rest and relaxation!

Weekly Diaries

Hello my friends!

The Emotional series of "Paris for Two" is growing ….. In the underbrush there are so many colors that I can see, that I must explore them with new series of watercolor paintings!

They are always different and new to me, like the colors of the soul of a person. Even of who is next to us every day: they show themselves little by little, if only we have the patience to really look... The nature and the soul are a great palette to discover! Here is my discovery continues…. What do you think?

Easter Weekend

Hello My Darlings,

This week was so extremely busy with a lots of ups and downs. I totally had no time to upgrade or add to my blog. But this morning as I woke up convinced that some things were left undone relative to my blog - I jumped in first thing: posted my new updates - some very exciting and some not as much.

1.This week I have the prints/canvas prints from my sold paintings featured on GILT.com along with other wonderful and talented female artists. (Eli Halpin - fun and whimsical artist, Leigh Viner - totally most popular now, and a few more very talented ladies with a less familiar names). I must say it was a Big disupointmet for my art not to be posted with my last name. It was only as Lana's Art Gallery.... which is for artists a big deal! It has been corrected for the future, however.

2. Celebrating my birthday this week and also continues with my boys b-days so it is a lot of (not so healthy sometimes) food, but lots of good times. I'm so proud of my boys - they are such talented, smart, goal driven and fine young men. I wish them many blessings and happy life journeys!

3. I had work overload so I only made a small contribution on the treasury this week, but thank you all my prolific teammates (you know who you are :) for featuring my art in your most creative treasuries. Thank you to all! Here are my favorites:
