We Are Moving!

Hello clamp-lightians, If you haven't already heard let me share the great news! Clamp Light Artist Studios and Gallery is moving! We are relocating to the corner of Blanco and Fulton (right by the funky cool obelisk). This new location has more space for studios and a bigger gallery, and if I might add a beautiful old window. We are also happy to announce the addition of three new artist's to the Clamp Light Family; Carol Cunningham, Jessica Sailors and Chris Adams. They will be adding onto our already establish artist's base of Sarah Roberts, Mark Crustinger, and Tom Turner.

Our grand opening in the new location will take place this coming Second Friday (September 12th).  Resident artist Tom Turner will be exhibiting new work in conjunction with FOTOSEPTIEMBRE. His show entitled The Color of Memory, explores how we intake photographs both visual and chromatically. Turner is dissecting color discovered within the landscape. Creating a transparent film into another realm of reality.

Finally, the Clamp Light Family would like to wish a very large congratulations and a fond farewell to long time resident and founder Wesley Harvey. He is leaving the Clamp Light gang to join the Red Lodge Clay Center team in Montana taking on his new title as Curator of Exhibitions. He will be severely missed but I'm positive this is not the last time you will be abel to see his work in San Antonio. In April you can find him at Hello Studios in the Blue Star complex.

Please join us next Friday to meet our new resident artist's  as well as view Turners exciting exhibition for fotoseptiembre in our NEW Space! Hope to see you soon.
