12 x 12 by 24 Exhibition and Fundraiser

Hola Clamp Light Crew! It’s warming up here in San Antonio and that means that summer is coming down the pipe. We have lots of interesting news on tap for the next few months and loads of exciting happenings under the green sign. This week is our annual fund raising show 12 x 12 by 24. Clamp Light invited 20 artists (24 counting our four resident artists) to show one work each measuring under 12” x 12”. Of the 24 artists you will find names that you know and are active in the San Antonio Community as well as emerging talent and nationally / internationally exhibiting artists! Some of the artists include, Albrechto Alvarez, Christie Blizard, Juan Miguel Ramos and Jessica Sailors. For a full listing of the artists see the list at the bottom of this blog. The event begins at 7:00 P.M. Friday June 13th, at Clamp Light as part of Second Friday on Beacon Hill!

As the name 12 x 12 by 24 Exhibition and Fundraiser infers this is a fundraising event so remember to bring your art allowance and help us keep the good things going here at Clamp Light! Along with the wonderful work showing in the gallery the studio spaces will be open for you to see the newest works and perhaps negotiate a great deal on that piece that you have been eyeing for the past few months! Last year’s fundraiser allowed us to remodel the front gallery space. This was a huge success! This year’s fundraiser will help contribute to studio upgrades, which will allow us to continue the premium exhibition schedule that you have come to appreciate here at Clamp Light Artist Studios and Gallery.
